O Canada!
Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.
With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!
From far and wide,
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
(just a note to those of my American friends who may not know. . .the tune is not 'O Christmas Tree')
*grins*
Bahaha!!! Not 'O Christmas Tree'?! That's fantastic. =D
ReplyDeleteHappy Canada Day dear Nicole!
We missed you here for Canada Day! I hope you have a fantastical 4th of July :) Lots of fun!
ReplyDeleteIt was a beautiful Canada Day here in Manitoba! We drove out To Sandilands where G. took some pictures of lady-slippers. I stayed with the car so I could keep track of him...and watch people in passing cars staring at this older silver haired man lying on his side in the ditch taking pictures!!wonder what they thought? This evening we went to T.H. for coffee (definitely a patriotic, Canadian thing to do) then came home and worked in the garden until almost 10p.m. We think of you often...like every day!!and pray for you. Have a great weekend. Enjoy your American friends as they celebrate the 4th. We will ALSO be celebrating the 4th. up here too as it's Auntie Sheila's birthday*** Love you Nicole! G. @ G. <><
ReplyDeleteThank you all :) Canada day was lovely - my family group had a sign and ice cream in celebration! (all that was lacking was that trip to Tim's!) I'm looking forward to the 4th as well.
ReplyDelete. . .and Merissa. . .there is a reason why I had to clarify the tune :)
